About Us

The Internal Audit Unit provides management and coordination of external audits including the required annual external audit of Montgomery County Public Schools and various Maryland State office audits of the system.  The unit conducts regular operational, financial and compliance audits and reporting. The unit also provides extensive assistance to managers and staff of schools throughout the year including training.
